The blowout
I must absolutely try much harder at caring for my hair. I'll begin today with a fresh, clean slate.

I officially love Wondercurl
I used the Get Set Jelly and the Butter Than Love Whipped on damp, detangled hair. I smoothed the hair between my thumb and index finger to individually define certain sections. I love these products.

Wondercurl
I ordered the entire Wondercurl line a few weeks ago. $5 shipping and a discount from curlychic made it all worth my while. I'll try the products today and post my results after. The baby is sick so I'll see what I can do

Welcome again
I decided to do a little more work on this blog to document my hair journey. My goal is to have waist length hair. I'll do Length Checks the first of every month. I'll also share my adventures and misadventures.
Yesterday tried the tension method for straightening my hair and Bantu Knots. My first time for both.
So sorry about the lighting and looking off. My kids were running in and out of the room.

why dont I take better care of my hair
I tend to cruise the natural hair blogs and read in awe of all things natural. Why don't I do that? Part of it is time. No time to heena, twist or detangle. Also, im not much of a mixologist. I know nothing of porosity or ph. The last is cost. most of the "good stuff" is $$$ because of online availability. Too afraid of spending lots of money on something that may not work. Happened to me with Miss Jessie's products.
Ive decided today that im going to take some initiative on getting better.
